Karin graduated with honors from the School of Design at NCSU.  She practiced graphic design in Burlington, VT and taught Design classes at Champlain College before moving to San Diego in 2006, and Cardiff in 2009. She studied painting with Bradford J. Salamon, Toni Williams, Anne Von Benckendorff, the late Cathy Grawin, and Sharon Carol Demery.

Karin enjoys the pure colors and subtle blending made possible with oil paints. More recently she has been experimenting with the free flow of watercolors.

Karin's paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of Cardiff and special places in the West. She's thrilled to call Cardiff home, with it's beautiful light, colors, plants and surf.
